New rules for research grants from the Swedish Research Council

In accordance with the Research Policy Bill, as from this year´s call for project grants, the Swedish Research Council will require details from the applicant researcher on the total cost of his or her project. The total cost shall include both so-called direct and indirect costs.

Another change is that the grant type “Medium-expensive scientific equipment" will disappear. In accordance with the Research Policy Bill the Swedish Research Council will focus on research infrastructures of national interest.
