Executive Director

The Executive Director is to lead and coordinate the internal organization of the Swedish Research Council and develop its activities in regard to quality and efficiency.

The Executive Director is Mariann Samuelson.  Mariann was previously a director at the Ministry of Education, Research and Culture and holds a doctorate in botanical physiology from Stockholm University.
