International Collaboration

In order to promote excellence the Swedish Research Council engages in many forms of international activities,  both directly supporting collaborations between researchers in Sweden and abroad, and, engaging in policy activities e.g. in order to facilitate access to research infrastructure  and the free circulation across borders of researchers, research data and ideas.

Altogether, the Council currently participates in some 70 international organisations, programmes and networks. The Swedish Research Council also strives for greater access to international research funding for researchers in Sweden.
