Evaluation panels
Every year, evaluation panels assess and assign priorities among some 6,000 applications, according to their scientific quality and the applicants´ skills. The panels comprise roughly 500 active researchers from Sweden and abroad, with expertise in many different fields.
On the basis of the panels´ work, decisions on the allocation of grants are then taken by the Scientific Councils and Committees of the Swedish Research Council.
There are evaluation panels for Research Infrastructures, Humanities and Social Sciences, Medicine and Health, Natural and Engineering Sciences, Educational Sciences and Artistic Research and Development.
