Committee for Artistic Research and Development

The Committee for Artistic Research and Development supports research and initiates questions concerning artistic research and artistic development.
 

Organisation

Committee acts on assignments delegated by the Board of the Swedish Research Council.

The Chair assures that Committee activities are carried out efficiently and in compliance with current regulations. The Committee is chaired by Professor Cecilia Roos from the University of Dance and Circus in Stockholm.

The Committee´s Objectives and Strategy

• Support artistic, practice-based research of high quality.
• Monitor the development of the doctoral programme for artistic research funded by the Swedish Research Council.
• Initiate and implement strategic work, including monitoring of national and international development in the area.
• Develop material for the Swedish Research Council´s recurring seminar aimed at exchanging experiences between representatives of the traditional sciences and representatives of artistic research.
• Serve as the editorial committee for the Swedish Research Council´s annual report on artistic research.
