Apply for Framework Grant in the "Röntgen-Ångström Cluster"
The first call of Framework Grant, within the German-Swedish research collaboration in structural biology and materials sciences, the Röntgen-Ångström Cluster, is now open to apply for.
To apply, you must be involved in ongoing or new collaboration with researchers or research groups active at a university or research institute in northern Germany. Your research must address materials science or structural biology and aim to use one or more of the following research infrastructures:
- PETRA III
- FLASH
- BESSY II
- MAX IV Laboratory
- BER II,
- ESS
- XFEL
The German-Swedish research collaboration is based on an agreement between the Swedish and German governments. Approximately 18 million Swedish kronor (SEK) will be allocated in 2011, and a new call for grant applications in 2012 is expected to be equally large.
Deadline for applications is 17 May 2011.
