Call for ERC´s Starting Grant open
For the fifth time, the European Research Council, ERC, is calling for applications for Starting Grants (ERC-2012-StG). The purpose of the call is to support excellent young researchers in all disciplines seeking to establish or consolidate their own independent research team. The grants are up to 1,5 million EURO (in some special cases up to 2,0 million EURO) over a period of up to five years.
The deadlines for applications are as follows:
- Physical Sciences and Engineering: 12 October 2011
- Life Sciences: 9 November 2011
- Social Sciences and Humanities: 24 November 2011
