Mille Millnert New Director General of the Swedish Research Council
The Swedish Government has appointed Professor Mille Millnert as Director General to head the Swedish Research Council. Millnert has been Vice Chancellor of Linköping University since 2004. He is Professor of Control Engineering. Mille Millnert becomes Director General on February 1, 2011.
“Of course I am proud of this appointment. After serving many years in the academic sphere, most recently as Vice Chancellor, it will be exciting to work from a national perspective in addressing the important research issues," says Mille Millnert.
