Time to apply for postdoc
It is time to apply for funding for postdoc. There are two forms of funding: postdoctoral fellowships and funding for postdoctoral positions in Sweden. The application deadline is August 25. Starting 2012 these two forms of grants will be replaced by the new grant International postdoc.
A postdoctoral fellowship is designed to enable researchers holding Swedish doctorates or degrees from the EUI (European University Institute) to visit universities or research institutes abroad.
Starting next year, the Swedish Research Council will make available a new form of grant — the International Postdoc. The new International Postdoc Grant will replace the current forms of grants: Grant for Postdoctoral Position in Sweden and Postdoctoral Fellowship with Homecoming Grant.
Funding for postdoctoral positions in Sweden is designed to enable researchers with Swedish doctorates, or with foreign degrees deemed equivalent to a doctorate, to visit Swedish institutions of higher education or research institutes.
The application deadline is August 25.
