Swedish Research Links: opens in March

The Swedish Research Links program offers grants for international collaborative research projects of high scientific quality and of mutual relevance for scientists in Sweden and scientists in Asia, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Africa, Latin America and Europe. Scientists in basic and applied research within all academic areas are welcome to apply for funding.
The grant may be used for joint activities, such as research visits between the partners, workshops and seminars. The grant must not be used for salaries or scholarships.

News regarding eligible countries 2012


This year, several new countries have been included in the program:
 
Africa: Burkina Faso, Kenya and Mali.
Latin America: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica and Mexico.
Europe: Armenia, Belarus and Russia**.
**Russia: Applications concerning research cooperation within the areas of democracy and human rights are eligible.

Note that China and India are no longer included in Swedish Research Links, whereas several other countries in Asia have been re-introduced in the program.

Call for proposal opens in March


The Swedish Research Links opens in the middle of March. Last application date is May 7th 2012.
