Humanities and social sciences

Research in humanities and social sciences is about the functioning of society and how cultural values are created and spread. The Research Council supports research throughout the area of Humanities and Social Sciences, including law, history and democracy.

The Research Council allocated around SEK 415 million by way of grants for research within humanities and social sciences 2009.
