Programmet hålls på engelska
ESS, MAX IV och SciLifeLab kommer att generera tiotals petabyte data varje år genom de experiment och mätningar som görs vid anläggningarna. En petabyte data motsvarar ungefär 250 miljarder mobiltelefonfoton eller 1 miljard böcker.
Dessa data är grunden för forskningsgenombrott inom alla vetenskapsområden – men bara om vi har strategier för att hantera, nyttja, kvalitetssäkra och göra allt tillgängligt. En nyligen genomförd studie visar att det finns betydande flaskhalsar som behöver hanteras för att forskningsanläggningarna fullt ut ska möta de behov som finns, hos akademin och industrin.
Vid årets Summit kommer vi att diskutera användningen av data vid anläggningarna och de möjligheter AI och maskininlärning ger.
