Monica was a very great asset to the Committee. Her passionate interest in developing educational sciences research, and her great experience of graduate schools have been invaluable for the scientific field. Throughout her long career within the field, and with her 6 years as a panel member of the Committee for Educational Sciences, she has been an outstanding resource for Swedish and international educational sciences research. She was a much appreciated and well-liked colleague, and she leaves a great void behind her.

Monica Rosén, member of our Committee for Educational Sciences, has died
Monica Rosén was Professor of Education at the University of Gothenburg. In 2019, she was appointed a member of the Council for Educational Sciences at the Swedish Research Council. Pernilla Nilsson, Secretary General of Educational Sciences, comments on Monica’s death.
