Research surveys 2019

During spring and summer, the Swedish Research Council’s scientific councils and committees have developed proposals for research surveys within their subject areas. Openness, transparency and solid establishment in the research community are important to us. For this reason, we will provide the opportunity to comment on the surveys, starting from 20 September.

The surveys become strategic knowledge documentation

In the research surveys, the scientific councils and committees describe the current position of research and make a forecast of developments over the next five to ten years. They may also include scientific and research policy recommendations for inputs to promote research in Sweden.

The surveys will become part of our strategic knowledge documentation, and also form a central part of the Swedish Research Council’s documentation for the upcoming Government Research Bill.
