International evaluation of the Swedish national data service, SND

In 2008, the Swedish Research Council initiated the transformation of SSD (Swedish Social Science Data Service) into SND (Swedish National Data Service). According to the agreement between the Swedish Research Council and the University of Gothenburg (the host university of SND), SND is to serve as a service and support function for Swedish research in the humanities, social sciences and medicine. In 2011, an evaluation of SND was conducted for the purpose of examining SND as a national resource and suggesting possible developments. The evaluating panel’s results are presented in this report.
