Evaluation of the Swedish Research Council´s criminology programme

Quality assessment of the criminal science programme 1994–2004. The report has two overall objectives: The first is to perform a quality assessment of the criminal science programme which was initiated by HSFR on behalf of the Swedish government in 1994 and completed in 2004. It should be noted that the report does not cover the entire field of criminology, but is limited to the extent of the programme.

The second objective of the report is to test an evaluation model that looks directly at content and research findings instead of using indirect methods for measuring research findings, such as a citation index. The authors of the report are: Professor Svein Magnussen, Department of Psychology, Oslo University, Professor Emeritus Jan Sundin, Health and Society, IMH, Linköping University, Professor Per-Ole Träskman, Faculty of Law, Lund University.
