The future of Swedish research! Educational sciences
Overview 2014 – Educational sciences
This is one of seven overviews of Swedish research. The Swedish Research Council has a leading role in developing Swedish research of the highest scientific quality, thereby contributing to the development of society. In 2014 the Council’s scientific councils, advisory bodies and committees compiled overviews of trends and challenges in six different research domains and an overview of research infrastructures in particular.
The initiatives taken within the scope of “The future of Swedish research” are part of the Swedish Research Council’s activities to support and strengthen researcher-initiated fundamental research, initiate research in strategically important areas and promote an effective research system. These initiatives are taken on a recurring basis in the run-up to the Government’s Research Bill.
