Bottlenecks that delay the benefits of large-scale research infrastructur

ESS and MAX IV are important nodes for research and innovation and strengthen Sweden as a knowledge nation. These research infrastructures provide researchers in Sweden with unique opportunities to conduct excellent research. Simultaneously, they offer opportunities for academia, industry, and the public sector to collaborate in finding solutions that lead to sustainable societal development.

The work underlying this report focused on investigating the bottlenecks that slow down the utilisation of large-scale research infrastructure and providing recommendation on how these can be removed.

The report is written by a project team with representatives from ESS, Lund University, Chalmers University of Technology Next Labs, and KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
