Research overviews 2019

Every four years, the Swedish Research Council’s scientific councils and committees develop research overviews within their subject areas. These overviews form a central part of the Swedish Research Council’s documentation for the upcoming Government Research Bill.

Current position and development over the coming years

In the research overviews, the scientific councils and committees describe the current position of research and make a forecast of developments over the next five to ten years. They also include scientific and research policy recommendations for inputs to promote research in Sweden.

The Swedish Research Council’s scientific councils and committees have developed the research overviews during 2018. During the autumn of 2018, researchers, higher education institutions and organisations have been able to comment on the content of a first draft.
