The aim of the project research grant is to allow researchers the freedom to identify the research idea, methods and implementation steps, and to solve a specific research task within a limited period of time. The Swedish Research Council supports basic research of the highest scientific quality on human biology/medicine issues, i.a. to bridge the gap between experimental biomedical research and patient-oriented research.
