Network grant within educational sciences

The purpose of the network grant is to support internationalisation and mobility through the development of long-term research collaboration within educational sciences between Swedish research teams and research teams in other countries.

The grant shall provide the opportunity to establish or further develop a network around a specific research area, where both senior and junior researchers from the research environments involved participate. The Swedish Research Council rewards research of the highest scientific quality in national competition.

Focus: Undirected

Applicant: Individual researcher

Participating researchers: A minimum of 1 and maximum of 4 researchers shall be invited to join the application. At least 1 of them shall be active at a foreign higher education institution (HEI). Participating researchers shall represent researcher teams at their respective HEIs.

Grant period: 1–3 years

Grant amount: Maximum 400 000 SEK per year

Budget framework: A total of 1.2 million SEK per year for 3 years, which means that at least 3 grants can be awarded

Start of grant period: January 2021

Application period: 26 February 2020 (14.00/2 p.m.) – 7 april 2020 (14.00/2 p.m.)

Publication of grant award: No later than the beginning of November 2020

  • You must describe whether sex and gender perspectives are relevant for your research and, if so, in which way you will use such perspectives, or why you choose not to do so. How sex and gender perspectives are managed in the research project will form part of the assessment of scientific quality.   • You will need to have a data management plan Opens in new window. for data generated within the research we award funds for. You must not send the plan to us, but according to our general grant terms and conditions, your administrating organisation must confirm that a data management plan will be in place when you start your project or equivalent, and also that the plan will be maintained.
