Project grant for international research collaboration within antimicrobial resistance (JPIAMR)

The purpose of the grant is to support international collaboration within the Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR). This is the 13th call within JPIAMR , and has the title “One Health interventions to prevent or reduce the development and transmission of antimicrobial resistance (AMR)”. Sweden, via the Swedish Research Council and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, is one of the 21 countries taking part in the call.

Applicant: Individual researcher

Participating researchers: Individual researcher who participates as 1 of maximum 2 Swedish project leaders in a consortium with partners from at least 3 participating countries. Only researchers at an administrating organisation approved by the Swedish Research Council may apply.

Grant period: 3 years

Grant amount:
Minimum total 1 200 000 SEK per Swedish participant in a project.
Maximum total 3 500 000 SEK (approximately 340 000 EUR) for Swedish participation in a consortium with maximum 2 Swedish partners. Maximum 5 000 000 SEK (approximately 470 000 EUR) for Swedish participation in a consortium with a Swedish coordinator.

Please note:

  • If you are participating as a Swedish applicant/partner in an international consortium, you must submit a parallel application to the Swedish Research Council. This is a national eligibility requirement that must be fulfilled before we can approve your participation in the consortium application.
  • The Swedish Research Council participates in the call within the One Health setting human health.
  • You should notify the national contact person at the Swedish Research Council of your intention to participate in the call.
  • You will need to have a data management planopens in new window for data generated within the research we award funds for. You must not send the plan to us, but according to our general grant terms and conditions, your administrating organisation must confirm that a data management plan will be in place when you start your project or equivalent, and also that the plan will be maintained.
