Grant for research communication in migration and integration

The purpose of the grant is to enable holders of earlier and/or ongoing research grants from the Swedish Research Council to plan, implement and evaluate communication activities that entail dialogue or co-creation with identified groups outside academia.

Subject area: Humanities and Social Sciences, Artistic Research, Medicine and Health, Natural and Engineering Sciences, Educational Sciences, Development Research

Focus: Migration and integration

Applicant: Individual researcher who is receiving a grant from the Swedish Research Council. Holders of earlier research grants are also eligible to apply, if the grant period ended on 31 December 2020 or later.

Participating researchers: Up to 6 researchers may be invited to join the application.

Grant period: 6–24 months

Grant amount: Minimum 100 000 SEK, maximum 500 000 SEK for grants lasting 6–12 months. Minimum 200 000 SEK, maximum 1 000 000 SEK for grants lasting 13–24 months.

Budgetary framework: 2 500 000 SEK per year for 2 years

Start of grant period: January 2023

Application period: 17 August 2022 (14.00/2.00 pm) - 20 September 2022 (14.00/2.00 pm)

Publication of grant award: No later than the beginning of December 2022

Please note:

  • The project shall include some form of collaboration with other personnel, such as a curator, producer, creator, collaboration coordinator, collaboration lecturer, artist, project coordinator, designer, communicator or other relevant professional expertise.
  • As from 2022, new criteria apply for approval of administrating organisations for grants awarded by the Swedish Research Council. You therefore need to make sure that your organisation fulfils the requirements and has been approved by us as an administrating organisation for calls issued after 1 January 2022.
  • You must justify in the project plan how you stated activity level is suited to the implementation of the communication project.
