Project grant for international research collaboration on quantum technologies (QuantERA)

The purpose of the grant is to support international collaboration in quantum technology. Sweden, via the Swedish Research Council, is one of the 22 countries taking part in the QuantERA call.

Subject area: Natural and Engineering Sciences

Focus: QuantERA: Quantum technology. The Swedish Research Council supports the project under the theme: “Quantum Phenomena and Resources”.

Applicant:
Individual researcher who participates as 1 of maximum 2 Swedish project leaders in a consortium with partners from at least 3 participating countries. Only researchers at an administrating organisation approved by the Swedish Research Council may apply.

Grant period: 3 years

Grant amount: Maximum total 4 500 000 SEK per project for Swedish participation.

Start of grant period: January 2024

Call deadline:
For the consortium application to QuantERA: 11 May 2023 (17.00/5 pm)
For the Swedish project leader’s application in Prisma: 17 May 2023 (14.00/2 p.m.)

Publication of grant award: No later than the end of December 2023

Please note:

  • If you are participating as a Swedish applicant/partner in an international consortium, you must submit a parallel application to the Swedish Research Council. This is a national eligibility requirement that must be fulfilled before we can approve your participation in the consortium application.
