Decisions on Kerstin Hesselgren visiting professorship 2018 and 2019
The 2018 Kerstin Hesselgren visiting professorship has been awarded Janine R Wedel, anthropologist and university professor at George Mason University, USA. During her time in Sweden, Professor Janine R Wedel will be mainly active at the Institute for Futures Studies and at Södertörn University.
The 2019 Kerstin Hesselgren visiting professorship has been awarded Robyn Eckersley, Professor and Head of Political Science in the School of Social and Political Sciences, University of Melbourne, Australia. During her time in Sweden, Professor Robyn Eckersley will be mainly active at Lund University.

The Kerstin Hesselgren Visiting Professorship should be awarded to a foreign prominent internationally recognized female researcher in the areas of social sciences, humanities, theology or science of law.
As from 2017, the professorship will be announced with two years of advancement (the 2018 call refers to professorship in 2020, while the 2019 call concerns professorship in 2021, etc.). As a transition to this, the 2017 decision comprises both 2018 and 2019.
Decision on Olof Palme visiting professorship 2018 and 2019
The 2018 Olof Palme visiting professorship has been awarded Margaret Moore, Professor in the Political Studies department at Queen’s University, Canada. During her time in Sweden, Professor Margaret Moore will be mainly active at Stockholm University.
The 2019 Olof Palme visiting professorship has been awarded Carol Cohn, Professor in Political Studies at University of Massachusetts Boston, USA. During her time in Sweden, Professor Carol Cohn will be mainly active at the Swedish Defence University.

The Olof Palme professorship should be awarded to an internationally prominent researcher focused on topics important to the pursuit of peace in a broad context within the areas of social sciences, humanities, theology and science of law.
As from 2017, the professorship will be announced with two years of advancement (the 2018 call refers to professorship in 2020, while the 2019 call concerns professorship in 2021, etc.). As a transition to this, the 2017 decision comprises both 2018 and 2019.
Decision on Tage Erlander visiting professorship 2018
The 2018 Tage Erlander visiting professorship has been awarded Anatole Katok, Professor in mathematics at Pennsylvania State University, USA. During his time in Sweden, Professor Katok will be mainly active at KTH, Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.

This professorship is awarded to an internationally prominent researcher in natural and engineering sciences. The researchers eligible for nomination in the 2017 call for visiting professorship had to be active in one or more of the areas of mathematical sciences, computer science, signals and systems, mechanics, bioengineering.
