In June 2018 we decided that professor Robin D. Rogers at the University of Alabama will be the holder of the 2019 Tage Erlander visiting professorship.

Professor Robin D. Rogers of the University of Alabama has been awarded the 2019 Tage Erlander visiting professorship. Professor Rogers is an internationally prominent researcher in chemistry. He works at the University of Alabama, USA. During his time in Sweden Professor Rogers will be mainly active at Stockholm University.

This professorship is awarded to an internationally prominent researcher in natural and engineering sciences. The researchers eligible for nomination in the 2018 call for the visiting professorship had to be active within one or several of the following areas: analytical, physical or theoretical chemistry, organic or inorganic chemistry, biochemistry or structural biology, cellular or molecular biology, bioprocess engineering, chemical engineering or environmental engineering.
