Tage Erlander visiting professorship

The 2020 Tage Erlanders visiting professorship has been awarded Zhi-Xun Shen, professor in in Physical Sciences of Stanford University, USA. During his time in Sweden, professor Zhi-Xun Shen will be active mainly at KTH, Royal Institute of Technology.

The Tage Erlander visiting professorship is awarded to an internationally prominent researcher in natural and engineering sciences. Researchers eligible for nomination in the 2019 call for the visiting professorship had to be active within one or several of the following areas: Subatomic physics, space physics and astronomy, atomic and molecular physics, optics and and condensed matter physics, electronics, electrical engineering, semiconductor physics and photonics, applied physics, materials science.
