Kerstin Hesselgren visiting professorship

The Swedish Research Council has decided that professor Judith Jack Halberstam, Professor of Gender Studies and English at Columbia University, New York, will be the holder of the 2022 Kerstin Hesselgren visiting professorship.

The 2022 Kerstin Hesselgren visiting professorship has been awarded Judith Jack Halberstam, Professor of Gender Studies and English at Columbia University, New York. During the time in Sweden, professor Judith Jack Halberstam will be active mainly at Lund University.

The Kerstin Hesselgren visiting professorship should be awarded to a foreign prominent internationally recognized female researcher in the areas of social sciences, humanities, theology or science of law.

We decide on the professorship with two years of advancement. The 2020 decision thus refers to professorship in 2022.
