Kerstin Hesselgren visiting professorship
The Swedish Research Council has decided that Jennifer Clapp, Professor of Global Food Security and Sustainability, at University of Waterloo, will be the holder of the 2027 Kerstin Hesselgren visiting professorship.

The 2027 Kerstin Hesselgren visiting professorship has been awarded Jennifer Clapp, Professor of Global Food Security and Sustainability, at University of Waterloo, Canada. During her time in Sweden, she will be active mainly at Stockholm University.
The Kerstin Hesselgren visiting professorship should be awarded to a foreign prominent internationally recognized female researcher in the areas of social sciences, humanities, theology or science of law.
We decide on the professorship with two years of advancement. The 2025 decision thus refers to professorship in 2027.
