Grants to be reported directly via forms in Prisma
For almost all scientific reporting in 2026 the project leader is reporting directly through forms in Prisma.
The project leader responsible shall submit the scientific report directly via reporting forms in Prisma. You will receive an automated email from Prisma once the reporting period has started. The message will be sent to the email address you have registered on your Prisma account. The reporting form is reached by logging in to your Prisma account.
Please fill in the requested information in the reporting forms and press “Submit” to register your report. Your scientific report must be submitted no later than 2 pm on the date registered in Prisma. Please observe that after this deadline Prisma will be closed for reporting and you will have to contact the SRC in order to be able to register your report.
If your submitted scientific report requires additions/is incomplete you will receive a message from Prisma.

Report in Prisma: Network grant for planning future excellence clusters for groundbreaking technologies
The project leader shall submit a report to VR (max 20 pages). Write the report with clear headings according to the instructions below. Use the headlines in bold in each section below.
- Research area and scientific position: Description of the research field, its current research front (state of the art), and a justification for why the area should be considered a ground-breaking technology.
- Long-term vision and impact: Assessment of the technology’s potential impact on research and society over a 10–20-year period. Assessment of the innovation potential of the technology.
- Collaborations and networks: Identification of current and potential future collaboration opportunities, both nationally and internationally, within the framework of the cluster of excellence, as well as what each partner will contribute. Key collaborations within the cluster must be supported by letters of support or intent.
- Cluster development and infrastructure: Plan for the establishment and expansion of the cluster, including needs for research infrastructure.
- Humanities and social science perspectives: Analysis of opportunities, challenges, and risks associated with emerging technologies, including aspects of security policy and the technology’s impact on societal development.
- Resource plan and budget: Overall cost assessment, financing strategy, and project plan.
Upload the report in PDF format to Prisma no later than the date specified in Prisma. If your submitted scientific report requires additions/is incomplete, you will receive a message from Prisma.
Follow-up reports 2026
The project leader responsible shall submit the follow-up report in Prisma. You will receive an automated email from Prisma once the reporting period has started. The message will be sent to the email address you have registered on your Prisma account.
