Research project grant energy-oriented basic research

The aim of this grant is to support basic research projects in natural and engineering sciences of the highest scientific quality and with very strong potential to contribute to an entirely renewable energy system, a resource-efficient society and/or a more flexible and robust energy system. The call concerns research project grants, which allow researchers the freedom to identify the research concept, methods and implementation steps, and to solve a specific research task within a limited period of time. Projects can be supported with a maximum of 1.3 million SEK per year. The overall budget for the call is 25 million SEK per year.

This call by the Swedish Energy Agency is made in collaboration with the Swedish Research Council. The Swedish Energy Agency is responsible for the call as a whole, and makes award decisions within the call.
