Global Peace and Security without a Healthy Environment?

The 2020 visiting professor Jason J. Czarnezki focuses on environmental and social justice, the interaction between civil society and sustainability and the impacts of environmental harm on peace and security. During his time in Sweden, he will be active at Stockholm University.

Each year the Swedish Research Council's Scientific Council for Humanities and Social Sciences appoints a holder of the Olof Palme Visiting Professorship.

The purpose of the grants to visiting professors is to give universities the opportunity to develop an area by recruiting an internationally leading professor for a short period.
