We are celebrating researchers in Sweden who have succeded in stiff competition in obtaining project funding from the European Research Council, ERC, in 2019. Invitations are personal.

In 2019, a total of 30 researchers in Sweden received grants from the ERC within the framework for the calls for Starting Grant, Consolidation Grant and Synergy Grant. A further 6 researchers were awarded funds under the call for Advanced Grant 2018. We are celebrating these successes by inviting the researchers to a reception at the Swedish Research Council.

The ERC has published the result of the call for ERC Consolidator grants. 13 of the researchers have a Swedish host institution.

The ERC has now published the results from the Synergy grant call. In total, 66 projects are sharing more than 684 million euro from the European Research Council. Five of them include researchers with Swedish host organisation.

The European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant 2025 has awarded 478 researchers in Europe up to 1,5 million euro, to develop their research project and to building their own research teams. 21 of them have a Swedish host institution.
