Hearing: National Resources for Large-Scale Computing

The Swedish Research Council is organising a hearing regarding the funding and organisation of national services for large-scale computing. We invite users, higher education institutions and other stakeholders.

The hearing is open for all stakeholders, for example users and representatives from higher education institutions.

On 18 June, 2021 the Council for Research Infrastructure decided to suspend the ongoing process for re-financing the research infrastructure SNIC (Swedish National Infrastructure for Computing) for the period 2023–2026. The Council for Research Infrastructure also decided to overhaul the conditions for a new organisation that can meet Swedish research's needs for computer and storage resources as well as user support.

The hearing will be held in english.
