DevRevs 2022 Conference Transforming Development Research for Sustainability

Research for development covers a broad range of topics and approaches, which generate knowledge that benefits sustainable development according to Agenda 2030. Meet researchers, policy makers, practitioners, funders and other stakeholders at the DevRes 2022 conference and discuss how research how research should be conducted to best contribute in order to best contribute to sustainable development with focus on low-resource settings. DevRevs 2022 Transforming Development Research for Sustainability

The Swedish Development Research Conference 2022 will be hosted by GlobeLife External link. - a joint initiative between Uppsala University and Karolinska Institutet.

Currently the call for abstracts system is open and we are accepting applications from students (graduate and PhD), researchers and practitioners that correspond to the main theme of the conference 'Transforming Development Research for Sustainability'.

This is a hybrid conference, we will offer both onsite participation as well as digital live-streaming and chat functions. The 1st day of the conference will be at Uppsala University, the 2nd day fully online and the 3rd day at Karolinska Institutet.

Dates to remember

  • 28 February 2022: deadline for abstract submission
  • Beginning of April 2022: registration opens
  • End of April 2022: notification on abstract acceptance
