Launch of the Center for Art and the Political Imaginary

On 23 October, there will be a launch of one of the new centres of excellence with funding from the Swedish Research Council: Center for Art and the Political Imaginary (CAPIm) – Sweden's first competence centre for artistic research. The research environment is a collaboration between HDK-Valand and the Royal Institute of Art.

The Swedish Research Council is funding 15 centres of excellence as from 2024. These centers will drive innovative research and educational activities around a central theme.
