Inauguration and Launch of the Centre of Excellence for Anthropocene History
On 24 September, there will be a launch of one of the new centres of excellence with funding from the Swedish Research Council: Centre for Anthropocene History, at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. The centre will function as a hub for research and education, using the concept of anthropocene and the new and emerging understanding of the relationship between humans and the environment as the starting point.

15 new centres of excellence are being built up
The Swedish Research Council is funding 15 centres of excellence as from 2024. These centers will drive innovative research and educational activities around a central theme.
