Manuela Boatcă is professor in sociology at Albert Ludwig University Freiburg, Germany. During her time in Sweden, she will be active mainly at Södertorn University. Manuela Boatcă´s inaugural lecture ”Gendering Global Entanglements”, on 4 Mars at Södertörn University, is open to the public.
Kerstin Hesselgren visiting professorship
Every year, the Swedish Research Council's Scientific Council for Humanities and Social Sciences appoints a holder of the Kerstin Hesselgren visiting professorship.
The purpose of the Swedish Research Council’s grant for visiting professors is to give higher education institutions the opportunity to develop a subject area by recruiting an internationally prominent professor during a limited period.
