In an increasingly interconnected world, international research collaboration offers immense opportunities but also poses significant ethical challenges. This conference will explore the concept of responsible internationalisation, examining how values, openness, transparency, and shared responsibility can be upheld while addressing the ethical complexities that arise when working across borders, cultures, and regulatory environments.

Ethics Arena 2025 is primarily aimed at researchers in academia and the business sector, and at those who work to support researchers in international collaborations or in ethical issues.

The programme covers three key themes, with presentations followed by panel discussions.

Theme 1: Values and Risks in Global Research Collaboration
