Monitoring of open access to research data

Welcome to a webinar where we highlight concrete ways in which universities and funders can monitor and incentivise the open sharing of research data. Examples from SciLifeLab, SND and Charité Berlin – three different approaches to making data sharing visible and measurable. The Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet) and the Swedish CoARA Chapter Working group Incentives for Open Science are hosting the event

Monitoring of open access to research data in Sweden 2025 (VR) 5 min

Presentations:

  • Parul Tewatia, SciLifeLab, will show how SciLifeLab monitors sharing of data by their researchers
  • Olof Olsson, Swedish National Data Service (SND), will show the Research Output Aggregator developed by SND
  • Evgeny Bobrov, Quest/Charité, Berlin, will show how the Charité monitors and recognises data sharing from their researchers.

The presentations will be 10 minutes each and will be followed by a discussion and Q&A.
