Five Nordic research projects awarded grants for research into COVID-19

It has now been decided who will get grants under Nordforsk’s initiative on research into COVID-19. The call, which was open between May and June, was aimed at researchers from the Nordic countries, Estonia and Latvia. The purpose was to develop new knowledge to fight the Coronavirus pandemic by using the unique health data from the Nordic countries.

The five project will receive funding during the years 2020–2022. The Swedish Research Council is one of the funding bodies supporting the call, which has an overall budget of 53 million NOK.
