Swecris database moves to vr.se

Today, the new Swecris website is launched. The project database has been redesigned, and is moving to the Swedish Research Council’s website. In conjunction with the move, we are also launching an entirely new API.

As from today all who navigate to swecris.se will land on vr.se/swecris. The new interface makes it easier to search, compare and produce statistics for Swedish research projects. The database includes information on more than 50 000 projects, and covers the period from 2008 onwards.

In conjunction with the move, we are also launching an entirely new API. This is because we want the information in Swecris to be used by as many people as possible. The old API will continue to function up to and including 1 June 2021.

Please note: All functions are not yet in place, and some adjustments remain to be done. Please contact info@swecris.se if you find any faults, or if you have any opinions on the service.

What is Swecris?

Swecris is a national database, where you can see how the participating research funding bodies have distributed their funds to researchers in Sweden. The database contains data from both governmental and private research funding bodies – 11 in total. Swecris is administered by the Swedish Research Council on behalf of the Government.
