A new European partnership for sustainable social development is now being prepared

The Swedish Research Council will participate in a new partnership within Horizon Europe called Social Transformation and Resilience. You can now get involved and influence the partnership's strategic research and innovation agenda.

A new European partnership programme for social transformation and resilience is currently being prepared within the EU's framework programme for research and innovation. Social Transformation and Resilience (STR) will be one of nine new partnerships planned within Horizon Europe.

The partnership will focus on four areas to build resilience: Social protection, the future of work, education and skills, and a fair transition to climate neutrality. The plan is for the calls for proposals and other research and innovation activities to be carried out between 2027 and 2034.

Work is now underway to develop a strategic research and innovation agenda. You are welcome to participate and influence the content via the partnership platform. The deadline for one of the surveys is 10 September.
