Members appointed to the Council for Research Infrastructure
The Swedish Research Council’s Board has appointed members to the Council for Research Infrastructure for the period 2026–2028.
The council will consist of thirteen members with expertise in research infrastructure from various fields. The Swedish Research Council appoints the chair and nine of the members, based on proposals from the scientific councils. Three of the members are appointed based on proposals from the research funding bodies Formas, the Swedish Research Council for Health, Working Life and Welfare, Vinnova and other government research funders.

The chairman of the council is appointed through a separate process. Björn O. Nilsson will continue as chairman of the council until 31 December 2027.
