Guidelines provide support for cybersecurity efforts

The guidelines are part of the national cybersecurity guidelines currently being developed across various policy areas in Sweden. Together with the national cybersecurity strategy, the guidelines aim to raise the level of security in the country. They have been developed in collaboration with research funders, universities and research institutes.

– Several reports indicate that cybersecurity needs to be improved within the research community. We hope that the guidelines will provide universities, research funding bodies, and research institutes with the support needed to create effective processes to promote the development and use of appropriate and secure digital solutions,” says Henriette Wejdmark, a legal advisor at the Swedish Research Council and one of the individuals involved in developing the guidelines.
