Opportunity to contribute to the Swedish Research Council’s research reviews

From 17 September, you will have the opportunity to comment on the draft research research reviews, developed by our scientific councils and committees.

Every four years, the Swedish Research Council’s scientific councils and committees prepare research reviews for their respective scientific fields.

The reviews describe the current state of research in Sweden and trends. They analyse the challenges, needs and opportunities for development in each area. The research reviews also include an analysis of new and changing needs for research infrastructure within each area.

“Engagement from the research community helps ensure that the overviews are well grounded and of practical relevance. They provide important input for the strategic work of the Swedish Research Council’s Board, scientific councils and committees, and also inform our contribution to the research policy bill", says Director General Katarina Bjelke.

We expect to publish the final versions in early 2027.

"Your views are important. We encourage you to take this opportunity to contribute to the final development of the reviews," says Katarina Bjelke.

All the reviews except the one on natural and engineering sciences are written in Swedish.

Here you can find the draft overviews (in Swedish).
