SHARE-ERIC – Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe
A European interdisciplinary, interview-based survey on health, ageing and retirement that aims, among other things, to enhance understanding of the consequences of the ageing population. The Swedish node is SHARE-S at Umeå University.
SHARE-ERIC is an interdisciplinary longitudinal interview-based survey of health, ageing and retirement, carried out seven times and covering a total of 140 000 individuals aged 50 years or older. In the latest wave, 28 countries took part. Sweden has participated since the start in 2004 and has been a member of the consortium since 2014. The Swedish node is part of the infrastructure CORS.
