Department of Administration

The department is headed by the Executive Director. A senior adviser is linked to the department.

The Administration Support Office includes functions such as logging/archiving, reception and caretaking.

The Human Relations and Finance Office manages areas including human resources and skills development.

The It Unit is coordinating IT-related activities.

The Management Support and Coordination Office takes care of the follow-up of the annual report and business planning, and acts as the secretary for the Board and management team, among others.

The Function for legal matters has the overall responsibility for legal issues within the Swedish Research Council and provides legal expertise on various issues such as replies, contracts and negotiations, both nationally and internationally.

In addition, the Executive Director is responsible for staff on the Central Ethical Review Board.
