Apply for funding from Horizon Europe
The first calls for proposals in the EU's new framework program for research and innovation have now opened. The main work program of Horizon Europe for the period 2021–2022 has a budget of a total of 14.7 billion euro. Information meetings about the funding opportunities are arranged this summer.
The European Commission's investments in Horizon Europe will help accelerate the green and digital transitions and will contribute to sustainable recovery from the coronavirus pandemic and to EU resilience against future crises. They will also be used to build efficient European innovation ecosystems and create world-class research infrastructures. Researchers and other actors in Europe can apply for support through calls, fellowships, training and various exchanges.

Info days this summer
In connection with the opening of the calls, the European Commission is arranging digital information meetings addressing 9 themes, each featuring a programme of exclusive discussions and hands-on sessions, dedicated to a different cluster or part of the new programme. The Horizon Europe info-days are aimed at potential applicants and others who are interested in learning more about the funding process within Horizon Europe.

National Contact Points can answer questions
The Swedish Research Council has National Contact Points (NCP) for various parts of the framework programme. They are responsible for informing about calls and events, and for answering questions relating to their respective areas of responsibility within Horizon Europe.
