Almost one third of our funds go to research infrastructure
The Swedish Research Council takes part in and initiates, coordinates and funds a number of research infrastructures, both in Sweden and in other countries. Almost one third of our funds go to research infrastructure. We also operate our own infrastructure, which facilitates register-based research, and are responsible for Sunet, which provides Swedish higher education institutions with data communication and IT-services.
